I interviewed 3 other travel agencies prior to Walkers Expeditions and found Walkers to be superior in cost, quality and with its overall friendly spirit. The guide and porter were very attentive, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend Walkers Expeditions and will personally use them again on my next adventure trek in Nepal.

Thank you for a wonderful 2 days excursion to Nagarkot ! It was so relaxing and Rajan made everything so easy. The walking was good with a sunset, the accomodation, food also very good. We were treated to a magnificient sunrise at 6:45 am. Ending our day with a good trek down the valley.

We are very pleased with the service of this company. We have done a guided tour Around Kathmandu Valley and Jungle Trekking and we also had some help arranging hotel in Kathmandu. We highly recommend this company.

One of the classic treks in Nepal, Everest Base Camp trek is the most popular route in Nepal. The Everest Base Camp Trek starts after 10 hours bus drive from Kathmandu to Jiri. The Everest Trek  starts from Jiri and it takes average 7 days to reach Namchebazar. Highlights of the Everest Base Camp Trek (Twenty One Days) around the Lamjura La is the magnificent display of pink and lilac rhododendrons in spring. The trail passes through the numerous settlements of different ethnic groups including Tamang, Rai, Brahmin, Sherpas and Chhetris. Add to this sweeping glaciers, glacial lakes, rhododendron forests, native flora and fauna, magnificent mountains, forest, animal, birds, and monasteries all go to make the Everest Base Camp Trek a perfect destination.

For acclimatization reason we spend two nights in Namche Bazar. Easier options for passing the acclimatization day can be found visiting around the monastery or side villages. Moving on from Namche Bazar the trail follows the valley of the Imja Khola with some spectacular views of the mountains including Thamserku, Kantega and And Ama Dablam and, dominating the skyline ahead, Everest and Lhotse. Gorak shep has few basic teahouse we make our last overnight before undertaking the final leg of the trek up the glacier to Everest Base Camp. Above Gorak shep rises the well-known land mark of Kalapattar. A climb of two or three hours will reward the trekker with a marvelous vista. Barely eight kilometers to the east is the summit of Everest and just to the north is Pumori, arguably one of the most beautiful mountains to be found anywhere to the Everest Trek. The return to the Lukla basically follows the upward route but rest days are obviously not necessary.

On day 21 of this Everest Base Camp Trek airplane will take you out of Lukla.
